Introducing..... Chuck Bass

Yes..... Yes we do.
So I turned 33 yesterday. No big deal. But middle age is fast approaching. Still single (and most of the time thats more than ok) but it was time to get a new house mate. Enter Chuck Bass. Possibly the most cutest blue british shorthair cat going around. He is only four weeks old and still living with the breeder in WA. He arrives May 19 and I can't flipping wait. And, even if I may say so myself, how fabulous is my little kitty's name??? - I like to think he will be arriving by 'private lear jet' (more like a plastic crate on a QANTAS flight...) - won't be long before he is sporting one of these....
.... a plaid collar of course. British shorthairs are inside cats so the collar isn't a necessity, but I'll be taking every advantage to set Chuck up sipping single malt scotch, getting around in a suit and tie and wearing plaid socks....kidding, kind of.
One of the exciting things is to that a whole new shopping opportunity has opened up - and mungo and maud have all the best stuff, including this bowl.
Even chic toys for Charles.
So indulge me a little will you - my little fur baby. I promise to not become too much of a crazy cat woman but seriously.... look at him.... it's going to be hard not to.

I almost need to have a cat after seeing Chuck Bass. Seriously desirable.

However, Milo next door might have an opinion. Milo is a bulldog. And, he rings my chimes, too.

Happy belated birthday for Thursday Miss K, hope you celebrated in style! How exciting you are getting a fur baby, I love the name. Any chance of a play date with puppy Lulu, she's desperate.

I love this post! Gorgeous kitten and fabulous name. At 30, I am still desperately crushing on Chuck Bass. My husband doesn't understand his appeal... (probably just as well, really).

Chuck Bass is very cute. My British Blue has a blog - I guess that makes me a cat lady.

Hi Kimberlee,
Your reply made me laugh. I know so many pictures of Pops, and she doesn't like her photo being taken, but I do persist.

If you do have any questions about British Blues, feel free to email me at julieq@xtra.co.nz
I'm not an expert but after living with her for six years I have some idea of her breed.

I have been a lurker on your blog for a while, so have seen the pictures of your sweet house, and you have lovely taste.

Nice to meet you.

I am okay with Chuck Bass . . . if he can wear preppy bowties like this:

33 is SO YOUNG!! Jealous.

Meanwhile my stepdaughter tell sme that the baby looks like Chuck Bass. Which is fine by me as he is so attractive.

Love the blog.

It's a Vertiable Blogtastic Feast.

I loathe cats but hope you and CB will be Happy x

I love your kitty. Despite FF and I disagreeing on the subject of cats I still luff her!!

I got my Maxie (Burmese) when I was 33. He is awesome. Followed 6 months later by Millie. And now here I am at the ripe old age of 36 sitting around in tracksuits covered in cat fur and baby spew. Who would have thunk it three short years ago?

Happy birthday and I wish you and Chuck a wonderful life together!

K xx
