Marnie Gilder

I've long been a fan of Marnie Wark's work, so it is no doubt I'm in love with Marnie Gilder's work.... because she is one in the same. Since finding herself a farmer, getting married, starting a family and taking her husband's surname she has created these stunning screen prints. I thought the style was familiar when I saw the article in the March Country Style Magazine.

I'm seriously considering the last one above, "Funny Feeling". Emma - thoughts? could this work with my new 'sophisticated' look? x

update: SOLD! I bought it, yay!! promise to post pics once framed and up.

Let's find me a farmer and maybe I'll find my creative side too! This artwork is tres sophisticated - I can play big girl at your house and keep indulging my childlike colour obsession at mine!

Oui! Your decorator agrees... this last one would be a fabulous addition to the glamorizing of the 'shanty'... always a fan of pink and red!
