So this is Christmas....

I've said it before and I'll say it again, where on earth has this year gone? I seriously (and I've said this a thousand times also) am still writing 2009 on things?! I hope this year has been a good one. And if not - I hope you have put together great plans for the year ahead. As much as I extremely dislike New Years, it is the perfect opportunity to reflect, regroup and renew. I've got grand ideas for 2011, well that is how I plan to start it anyway. I'm spending the Christmas break with my hilarious family in Noosa. I really should pack... because we fly out tomorrow. But I should also do a little bit more work... and clean the house... and call some friends. So not enough time, no wonder 2010 flew like it did. Love you all lots and thanks so much for checking in with me every now and then here at my little bloggy spot. This is the best medicine ever. xoxo

Kate Spade..... stop it!

Kate Spade.... things we love...... this is just too delicious for words. Better still, it doesn't even matter that I live in Australia and can't get anything shipped here from your store (a major thorn in my side that I would love you to relieve me of....)
Why? because you can get your fix of things they love online here. And those straws? consider them yours. Available at Brown Button Trading. I love that we love the same things..... x

Happy 1st Birthday Mr H

A year ago today this little reindeer (otherwise known as Harry) was born. You are the bomb little one. Love you lots. This little chubba is Ruby's (god daughter of the century) little brother. I'm lucky their lovely parents let me treat them like my own. xx

Did someone say Christmas?

So apparently it is almost Christmas - yikes!
Just wanted to let you know that all orders of $50 or more placed @ Brown Button Trading between now and 23 December 2010 will be posted by Express Post where possible (ie where Australia Post offers the service between Adelaide and the destination of the order).
I feel like an elf (with a belly more like santa?!) packing orders, I love it! - I even sent Letitia a pic of the gift I popped in the post for her sister this afternoon (see above).
See all the gorgeous new products available, or shop using the 'shop by price' list to purchase your last minute gifts - so much fun.

My Kitchen.

I've been reluctant to share pics of my kitchen because there is still so much work to do, but I did send some pics over to the wonderful Belinda so she could see how the stool covers she organised for me looked in the kitchen. I promise to share some more pics in the New Year. You can see a couple more pics over at Kelly Green today. x

I often talk about the fact I could sleep for Australia. Seriously. My efforts some weekends are staggering - I am a professional sleeper. I give good sleep. If this was my bedroom? - I'd seriously think about giving up my day job and doing it full time. Love.

Working Weekend

Summer is finally showing its face in my part of the world which is perfect for all those attending the Ashes test this weekend at Adelaide Oval.

Me? - I have a date with my little shop. The poor thing has felt somewhat neglected over the past five weeks as I have been busy travelling etc for the day job.

So we plan to spend most of the weekend together, 'my baby' and me. I have loads of new cute stock to load onto the website, perfect for Christmas gifts. Gift wrapped and delivered in time for Christmas? - easy! - I also have a special offer for all Australian customers in the lead up to December 25. More on that next week..... Til then - xx

photography by Grace Murphy - items available from Brown Button Trading.

UPDATE - don't we love technology. gremlins have prevented me from uploading (but thankfully won't stop you shopping! ) - I'll let you know when the new stock is up xx

Match made in Heaven.

Hello, my name is Kimberlee and I'm a magazine-aholic. Print or online,I'm there. I've just spent the last half hour purchasing every Lonny magazine in print from magcloud. I devoured the first issue of anthology on the plane last night from Adelaide to Melbourne (I'm going to the U2 concert tonight...... whoop!) - so while catching up on my favourite blogs last night (because it has been a while) there was a little bit of excitement when I read on Kate's blog that Matchbook was launching in January of next year. Can't. Wait. How can you not get excited....

"Launching in January 2011, Matchbook is an online lifestyle publication celebrating the classics - shaken and stirred. Our monthly issues will cover past and present fashion, decor, the arts, travel and culture. Brimming with intriguing interviews, stately homes, captivating memoirs and delectable fashion spreads, Matchbook will inspire women around the globe to design a life they adore.

From lipstick to letterpress, gelato to grossgrain and Paris to Peru, consider us your field guide to a charmed life."
