Pretty fly....

Sydney and Melbourne? Adelaide is not. But why would we want to be like another city? I love my 'home town'. The best bit? The fabulous food and wine at our doorstep (my waistline however does not like this... I digress...) - Apparently the latest 'hot spot' is Singapore House.
Delivered by the group behind Mesa Lunga and Osteria de Mesa (i'm so behind I haven't even been to Osteria yet!) comes this Raffles Hotel decor inspired dining experience. The pics above are from their private "Butterfly Room" - Six hundred framed butterfly specimens - stunning.
Kate, You are my foodie friend - are you up for a Singapore Sling or three?

Wow, that is crazy! It's a little intimidating seeing all across the wall, but I bet amazing in person.

OMG! I cannot comprehend that many butterflies. I thought the butterfly exhibit at the Brisbane museum was impressive!

Looks like a fun dining experience as long as those butterflies don't come alive!

Wow! Can I come too? I recently persuaded an antique dealer friend to sell me some amazing old butterflies from her private collection, and I love them dearly, but this is something else altogether.

Oh damn Miss K - I loved this place when it was Cha-Chi's, I'm truly devastated! Stylish, elegant, chic Singapore House or shabby, un-chic, fake Mexican Cha-Chi's - decisions, decisions.

Oh, how i love our dear Radelaide! I am its biggest ambassador. And yes, I have been to Osteria, it's fab. So different to anything else we have. And pasta to die for. Don't get me started on the sangria!

Singapore House is next on my list, I can't wait! Kimberlee, get yourself and dear Emma back from Melbourne and we will celebrate her big 3-0 with Singapore Slings til the sun comes up!
