Before today, I could name you a million things I would rather be doing.... 'thrifting'? pffft.
But goodness me, I'm now a convert! Emma, Kate and I had a fabulous day sourcing wonderful finds for Kate's home. I'm not going to give too much away as I know Kate will share all the details - but there is nothing better than watching Emma in her element, doing what she loves and doing it all so well (that is her measuring this FABULOUS headboard through the window of a shop that had closed for the day.... lucky the owner was still around - saw us acting like weirdos outside her shop and let us in!) - needless to say I'm exhausted, so many things on this weekend, this little chicken is off to bed, on a Saturday night at 8:06pm *puts hand to head with fingers making out an "L" for Loser on her forehead*. Sweet dreams! x

I know what you mean about the thrifting thing! I hadn't been to a garage sale in about 10 years, then about a month ago we were up early one Saturday morning and decided to head out to a couple of garage sales, now I'm addicted.. there are so many great bargains around!! :) Hazel
Oh wow! Can't wait to see what you found! x
Thrifting is pretty fun! And cheap too!
Hehehe... I love measuring things through windows! Hilarious... can't wait to see that in colour!
I had a fabulous day too bella xx
that's one of the BIGgest things i miss about SA - the amazing second-hand, quasi antique stores, and the BARGAINS! (well compared to perth anyway).
But it can be exhausting, i agree. As can be the pub lunch in stirling : ) (or bridgewater, or hahndorf...)
Oh I'm a HUGE fan of thrifting...in fact I have dedicated a whole section of my blog to my thrift finds and how I spruce them up! I have some vintage hankie's that I have turned into pillows up right now! I need to get that print I think....Hope you are having a lovely day!
Thrifting is amazing :) Your looking for beauty in something that has lost luster in someone else's eyes. 2nd chances are the best! SO FUN
