Oh to be 5 again....

Yum! A Brown Button Trading customer (and friend of a friend- oh I love how small the world is xxx) purchased a candy jar and the gorgeous white butterfly dish for her daughter's fifth birthday ice cream parlour styled celebration. Linda was lovely enough to send me some photos... check out the cake, crazy wow.

Want to replicate? see Anna Von Marburg's "Happy Birthday" book - just quietly, I think little Amelie's cake is even better than that in the book....

So, I'm taking a poll - and all those who think that a certain brown button who is turning 31 in a couple of weeks can't have a ice cream birthday cake.... your vote isn't going to be counted!

Thanks to Linda and Amelie for sharing their party pics (and the best bit? the writing on the plate in the first photo originally was "Amelie is 5!" - the birthday girl insisted on the "!" be photshopped out as she thought it looked like it said "Amelie is 51" - too cute.
