My little shop has been somewhat neglected lately. I love my new day job, but it takes up a few more hours than the old one did, so when I get home I kind of feel like doing not much but have a glass of wine and watch old episodes of Grey's Anatomy on DVD.... SOOO, can I ask for your help? I'm in desperate need for some inspiration for new stock for my virtual shelves and would love some suggestions as to what you would like to see available at Brown Button Trading.
I'd love ideas for products available o/s that aren't readily available here - seen something on your holidays or are you outside Oz and know of something we are missing out on and just shouldn't live without?Best idea? - $50 gift voucher for BBT. Taking suggestions til end of February - thank you!!! x

I love that little photo! I would suggest anything Japanese, especially washi paper tea canisters and stationery. Every time I go to Japan I stock up on a big bunch because you can't get it here. Also, I'm sure if you stocked Japanese masking tape you would sell a huge bunch.
Good luck.
Hi Kimberlee, check out A-M's post on laundry ideas. We're both looking for the wooden drying rack she talks about. Have a lovely day..Rx
KB, that pic! - sooooooooooooooooo cute.
Speaking of wine, can you stock wine? I love wine. mmmmmmmmmmm wine.
Really big & tall glass jars, with lids!!!
Oh my...day jobs can be so very inconvenient!
I do love visiting Brown Butting Trading...it's just the deciding that gives me grief! I fill the cart to full but then have to be realistic. Those gorgeous candy jars are calling...
Would you consider some of the beautiful ribbons on the gorgeous vintage wooden spools by House Doctor in Denmark? Perfect for sweet gifts, sewing, craft embellishments and just to look at!

What about artwork? maybe selling prints. I always love flipping through different prints, I am always tempted to buy them all...
Hello it is Kate's Mum here. I have a silver champagne stopper in the shape of the champagne cork. It came from France and I think it is very "posh". A present suitable for someone who has everything.
Glass cloches! Pretty please

i was thinking or arranging an adelaide blog-girl meet. would you be up for it? AHHH!
Large glass punch/lemonade containers to go with the cany buffet jars. I am talking either big glass jars, or the ones that have the little nozzle bit at the bottom. A casual but elegant touch for an outdoor event!
could you please stock the fabulous Jan Constadine range of pillows etc.from London. Currently she doesn't export to Australia
Hmm, where do I start! I'd love Catch Kidston, Specklefarm, wrapping papers, mohair rugs, faux crystal tumblers, pink striped wooden trunks (like the gorgeous one from Indulge Murdoch in Angaston!), anything Zara, Kate Spade etiquette books, thank you cards, cushions, throw rugs, French linen spray, pearl bracelets . . . okay, so I've just reeled off my birthday wish list this year!
I heart BBT, Kimbo xo

Hi Kim,
I love stationary - thank you notes, birthday cards and whatever cards... So I would love to see more stationary, like Ordning & Reda (www.ordning-reda.com) from Sweden - diaries and cards.
Also, I love Tio Gruppen, also from Sweden (www.tiogruppen.com) - they have beautiful fabrics and little bags for everything in very fun colours!
Good luck!
