A sister to have brunch with

A goddaughter to spend time with

A kitchen to cook cupcakes in

A market stall to plan

A bbq with friends to attend.

With a weekend like this planned - I think its time to stop thinking about what I don't have and treasure what I do have. x

She's back!!! Why hadn't anyone told me!??! - A-M, huh huh, did you know and not tell me?! She makes my heart sing and ache all at the same time, she writes like no other, and I was devastated when she left last time, fingers and toes crossed she keeps writing the best blogging ink for a while. Off to a ball tonight - wish I had a pretty yellow and white striped dress to wear. Should be lots of fun - friends, food, wine, dancing and all for a very good cause. Tomorrow? - baby shower. Oh and announcing the winner of my giveaway. Sunday? nothing - bliss. You? x

Confession Time.

I love a good wedding, don't get me wrong - but is it just me, or are Australian brides afraid of colour when it comes to styling a wedding? I couldn't think of a better chance to go crazy with colour than at your wedding. But hey, maybe that is why I'm yet to marry. Colourful weddings is one thing the Americans do so well. Maybe I wouldn't do the boots, but they look right at home and natural here. The colour? Yay!

....goes another week!?!??! Far out brussel sprout. To do this weekend:

• Update the little shop with some of my new favourite things.
• cook and clean
• go to Barossa Under the Stars to see Mr Farnham and sing "your the voice" at the top of my lungs in the family
• 'head to the hills' to see my favourite god daughter and her parents. (I'm now "Timberlee" - she'll get the 'K' eventually - she isn't even two yet!) - the latest is "Ruby never on the road", "Timberlee never on the road" - something tells me dad has been teaching her some basic road rules....

Perfect weekend plans

From the pages of UK's Living Etc Magazine comes these gorgeous images of a home just outside of Melbourne Australia on the Mornington Peninsula......wouldn't mind dropping in for the weekend. The weekend paper and coffee in the kitchen, getting up just to move to a chair in the living room to read a book and put the ipod on, and maybe, if I am feeling really energetic in the afternoon I'd head to the backyard for vino and cheese. Yes, sounds horrible doesn't it?!
