Lost it. Totally.

My blogging mojo that is. Seasoned bloggers - fill me in. Where do you go? What do you post when you feel you have exhausted all avenues of blogosphere material? I think it is better not to post at all than post for posting sake. So please bear with me.

I am 7 days or 52.5 hours or 525 chargeable units away from finishing my current job and I have about 700 days of work, training manuals, handovers to do between now and then (oh woe is me, I know) . Then a week break (yippee, which includes four days in Melbourne with my favourite girls) and then I start a new job. It's all a bit much at the moment so please don't go away, stay tuned. It has to come back. It will. I promise.

An early minute...

I am taking a self imposed 'early minute' from blogging this week. I'm 'heading for the hills' and staying with Little Miss Ruby and her mum while her dad is away, then we are off to the Clare Valley to spend the weekend with her "baba" (that's grandpa for those of you who don't know Ruby speak").

Can you believe she is sleeping in a bed now? You ask her how her day was and she says "not bad", and shakes your hand as says "how do do" - um hello, when did she do all this growing up?! Yes, I'm a gushing godmother. Deal.

I don't think I'm alone when I say i am a sucker for an inspiration board. Mine is more of an uninspiring board?! - finishing it is on the list of things to do.

Until it starts to inspire me, I'm going to continue to be inspired by boards belonging to others.

Raindrops keep falling on my head

Could have done with just ONE of these walking to work this morning. Never one to complain about rain living in the driest state on the continent, and in the middle of a drought......... but - having left my only umbrella at work YESTERDAY and the fact that it was raining THIS MORNING on my walk to work..... not happy Jan. I was blind too. Had to take my glasses off as they got so wet they needed windscreen wipers (oh so chic). Oh, and did I mention that I was carrying three massive packages to take to the post office for fabulous BBT customers as well? Well I was. Needless to say hair was ruined by the time I got to work, not only was it worn up but also with a headband today. Ok Universe, I've got the hint. I need to get a car..... image via fffound

Times....... they are a changin'

Sorry for all my subliminal, angst ridden, 'don't be afraid of change' posts of recent - today (well, now it is technically yesterday) I resigned from the job I have had for the last 8 years. Difficult? Yes. I will start a new and very challenging role with a new firm in five weeks. Excited? Yes. Terrified? Definitely. A lot more responsibility? you bet. So - here's to change, the future, ensuring you are true to yourself no matter how petrifying that may seem. The right decision? Only one way to find out. Happy weekend beautifuls xx

(yes, yes I know, 'tierd' is spelt 'tired'...) -but go with me on this. I've got germs and stuff. Lost my voice even (yes 'hallelujah' says close friends, family and colleagues!) - some sort of throat infection . I'd only been thinking quite smugly to myself last week how well I had done to get through winter without getting sick. Pfft. Doctor has me off work for rest of week so I'll catch up with you when I'm feeling better. x

Just over at Party Perfect - how cute are these cupcakes?! The bluebirds nesting are so cute but elmo cracks me up. Ahhh, what the hell, I'll make a dozen of each, I have a cupcake courier after all, there is still room for another dozen! x

My favourite bit - their free downloads. Channel your inner Amy Atlas.....

There is not denying that Amy's dessert tables are to die for. Especially for moi who loves colour coordination, symmetry, a sense of order whilst still being beautiful and delicious (it is the constant pull between accounting and the creative.... and I love it). I think if you are lucky enough to have half of the culinary and styling skills of Ms Atlas you are one lucky lady!
