Lost it. Totally.

My blogging mojo that is. Seasoned bloggers - fill me in. Where do you go? What do you post when you feel you have exhausted all avenues of blogosphere material? I think it is better not to post at all than post for posting sake. So please bear with me.

I am 7 days or 52.5 hours or 525 chargeable units away from finishing my current job and I have about 700 days of work, training manuals, handovers to do between now and then (oh woe is me, I know) . Then a week break (yippee, which includes four days in Melbourne with my favourite girls) and then I start a new job. It's all a bit much at the moment so please don't go away, stay tuned. It has to come back. It will. I promise.

Hang in there girl. I will be there for you, just breathe and just trap one rat at a time. When I feel blank about blogging I hit explore mode and start hunting. Once excited again and batteries re-charged, I start posting. Sometimes lately I wonder if my little blog is of any value to anyone at all. But the followers square usually answers that question. Love ya, Heidi

Sounds like you have a lot on your plate. There's nothing wrong with taking a break from anything.

I love your blog. I hope you feel inspired soon. In the meantime, rest and take care of you.

I have gotten to the point where I look for things in my day that inspire me to write, no matter how minimal it may seem at the time. I think all writers, no matter if they are professionals or just writing for the fun of it, get a block now and then. Sometimes you need a break in order to remind yourself that you enjoy blogging. And to come up with more material. I got sucked into blogging so quickly that for awhile it was all I wanted to do! But you have to live a little in order to have anything to blog about! : ) I have faith it will come back to you...I hope, because I love your blog!!

Sounds like you have lots on your plate at the moment. Perhaps the blogging mojo will return after the dust settles. I'll be here when you get it back, no worries :)

I lose my blogging mojo every 4-5 months or so. What seemed fun and creative feels like a job.

So I take a sabbatical. Maybe for a month, maybe for longer.

But it helps me retain the love.

Enjoy your sabbatical. See ya soon.

Good luck and hang in there:) It's a stressful time so you're probably not feeling all that inspired. I usually go to my favorite blogs for inspiration. And lately I shop online for the nursery...something usually clicks!

Ah, K, you have so much going on right now (and you didn't even mention running your own online boutique!) It is hard to feel inspired when life has you running so hard and ragged! Enjoy your break and take whatever time you need-- the inspiration will come again, and we'll all still be here when it does. xoxo

I so know this feeling! I find it is the second I stop stressing about finding inspiration that it just happens--sorry, that is not very helpful!

We think nothing of pressing the 'pause' button on the TV or CD remote...it should be the same with life. Just take a break, smell the flowers, walk in the sunshine and moonlight, and let the stars realign. Take time to discover pleasure in the simple things of life, and then you will be ready to face the world again.

I was feeling exactly the same way today, what oh what to blog on. I find I feel like this every couple of months and then my interest is piqued by something I see and I'm off again. Hope you had a fantastic trip away! Kate
