I have an IKEA bookshelf in my office, and you'd never know it. :) (Not that I have anything against IKEA, I love it!) But I have gotten a lot of compliments on it. They have some great stuff for a great price!
Also, I LOVE this woman's taste. AMAZING.

I have a lamp base quite similar to Michelle's in her study, except it came with a tall black shade. You know what I've done? Borrowed my baby girls new Tillinghast shade and I la la love it!
You have a great magazine there in Australia. Since so many of ours have gone out of business, I might need to start looking outside the U.S. for my magazine fix. You have a great blog and a wonderful online store. I really love those painted metal tumblers. I just had to mention you and your store on my blog.
oh, how i love Rubie Green! i have the pink zig-zag fabric too, and i just bought the matching light pink bedding. i will post it on my blog when i'm done decorating!

Oh, my goodness! I just adore this. Those shelves are purely amazing.
The book stack definitely is cute! I could see it working as a mini-lamp holder or something, too, since I doubt they're ever pulled out and read!
