Still Hot in the City Tonight.....and tomorrow, and the next day, and the next......

Friday night G&T's, Saturday morning a massage and a trip to the markets, a friend's 30th Birthday BBQ celebration (postponed from 2pm til 5pm because of the foul hot scary weather....yes, I'm still going on about that) and Sunday, a day trip to the river. You? image by Annie Schlechter

it seems to be the complete opposite here, we're having some really cold weather, the coldest in 13 years! so the newspapers says, so think i'll wrap up in a warm blanket, eat some icecream (love eating icecream in the winter as it never melts before it reaches your month!) and watch some films!

Hope you stay cool this weekend.
It is actually going to be quite warm here in Los Angeles today as well, although probably not as warm as where you are!

Have a wonderful weekend Kimberlee.

I am very afraid for you all down there. Have you ever had that kind of heat before? For Pete's sake stay inside. A person could combust it those conditions. Heidi

Oh goodness--sorry the sweltering heart continues but a G&T does sound like a lovely solution!

Have completely taken myself out of circulation to cope - my social life may suffer, but at least I will be inside staying cool ... you probably remember well last time I had the nasty heatstroke, not particularly interested in going there again!!!!
Stay cool bunny xx

hideously hot weather down there, hang in there and drink lots of water and throw a cupcake in for good measure, I find it helps haha!

I feel for you. Stinky Adelaide heatwaves suck ... what's with all those double brick houses??? And why hasn't that beach pic got those cute stripey beach shelters Adelaide used to be famous for???

OmiGAWD, you poor thing. I've been reading all about the crazy temperatures in Adelaide. Hope you're managing to keep cool somehow.

Is it torturous to inform you that it may snow this weekend in London? Come over here! xx

Yes, its getting very tiresome Miss K. isn't it. We're having lunch on the verandah @ Hahndorf Hill Winery tomorrow with some English friends. Thought we'd give them an initiation test to see how they'll cope each Summer. As it's going to be 40C. again, I reckon I'll need to have an ambulance on stand-by for the poor loves.

That beach looks like heaven. We are freezing in the US. And I'm lucky to be in Washington DC where it's warmer than other parts of the US. But we're only about 3C. :) DC summers are brutal, so I do feel your pain.

Your weekend sounds SO great! Hope you're enjoying your summer. Down here is pretty hot too, but surely not as hot as there!
