As I have said before, despite being a huge fan of colour, I don't use it enough. What better way to build confidence to use colour than to be inspired by others that you believe have done it successfully.

Oh, I love that photo with all the heels. I have always loved color and can't wait to use it in abundance when I move into an apartment later this year. I foresee lots of yellows and blues!

my bedroom has actually been a bright orange for the past 4 or five years.... i am DYING to paint it a neutral color. But bright colors are welcome all over the rest of the room :)

Funny you should ask. JJ and I did some sisterly shopping this morning (celebrating back to school day!) and she went wild and bought bright yellow cushions to add a bit of zing to her living areas. Yellow is not a colour either of us usually decorate with, but they look fab. I am house hunting at the moment so am trying very, very hard to control any decorating impulses until I see what it is I will have to work with! Looking forward to seeing how you incorporate more colour round at your place.

Qhat wonderful color photos! I love the shoe shot, as well as the second photo with the butterflies and birds. I have a decent amount of color in my house now, but I've found myself being swayed by lovely all-white and other neutral interiors... when we find a new place, I don't know which side will win the battle :)
