It's been Mexican week at Brown Button headquarters this week. In the kitchen at least anyway. E and I have been enjoying tortilla wrapped everything but I drew the line at serving my morning porridge and berries encased in Mexican bread....
Megs was over for dinner tonight = Fajitas. Pip and Bella are coming tomorrow night = burritos. Friday night I'm thinking margaritas.
I would have loved to have set the table fiesta style. Colourful and fun but really quite simple when you look at it. I have a little crush on those little metal cups (I know, I have such a way with the English language - I do numbers for a living, remember.) - do they have a technical design-y name? I need me some.

I would call them little metal cup too, sounds appropriate. there small, there metal and they hold a beverage which they can also hold flowers!

Margaritas are a must with Mexican food! Hope you can use Rose's lime and triple sec instead of margarita mix, it really is much better that way. Enjoy your festivities--sounds fun!

Love that table setting - so fun! Definitely need margaritas on Friday night! Mexican food can be used just as an excuse to get to enjoy a nice margarita on the rocks with salt! :)
Did you mean BYO Tequila, Mexican Hats optional? Perhaps I assume too much. But it is certainly how I would address the invite!
If you can't find the little painted cups you could look for anodized aluminum cups. They are relatively easy to find and come in lots of colors.
Mexican is my absolute favorite food group. And margaritas? DEEEE lish. Yum. If you didn't live so far away, I'd invite myself over.

They are gorgeous. They are painted stainless steel to be exact LOL. You can purchase them from Tree of Life (and other stores I could imagine too). I think there are around $12-$15 each. They also have trays and jugs as well. All gorgeous!!
I am such a sucker for Mexican food (I think I could truly eat it every day!) And margaritas are the perfect way to cap off the week!

'Metal cups' works for me. That's what I'd call 'em. Try doing science, one becomes more illiterate by the day! There's no creative writing opportunities in pracs! My boys would love you.. they could live on 'burt-ritos'! A-M xx
