Burning up...... it IS a heatwave

Too hot to post. Too hot to do anything. Yesterday it was 42oC. Today? Temperature 43.9oC at 3pm today (that's 111.2 Fahrenheit my overseas friends!) Tomorrow? Forecast - 44oC. Friday - potentially 41oC. Saturday - 40oC. Sunday - 40oC. Monday - 39oC. Tuesday - 38oC. Wednesday - 38oC. You get the picture. Expressions of since sympathy, "poor you", ice blocks and a cool change can be sent to me, via brown button, or should I say sweltering button...... So hot the formatting is stuffed in the post. meh. photo via flickr

Oh noo! Am so so sorry you're getting the heat, hope it cools down.. A LOT! Great excuse to eat ice cream EVERYday it's hot! We've just went through a patch of bad bad heat up here in Brisbane the other day - not pretty.

Oh, poor you! That is one intense heatwave! I would send ice blocks your way if they would make it intact. Perhaps an awesome vintage fan would be better? Stay cool (and not in like a "Stay Cool, Man" type of way, but you can do that too if you like...) xo

Wow, that is unreal! Looks like were at the 2 opposite ends of the spectrum, as I look outside my window and it's snowing. I'd bundle some up and mail it to you if I could :) Stay cool and eat lots of popsicles!

Poor, poor you! It's a mild 30C here today. I'm still wearing jeans, oh and the customary building site stilettos. A-M xx

Ack! I'm moving to Melbourne from Seattle, U.S.A in two weeks and it's cold and wet here at the moment. I think I'll melt, but I'm looking forward to the palm trees and sunshine :o)

And ditto to that Miss K.! I dread the thought of how everyone will be by next Wednesday. There will be some very tired & grumpy people around. I hope you're not still walking to work!!

I would do anything to have some heat here in the U.S. We are actually snowed in our home and the electricity is out. It is horrible here at the moment. Hopefully, it will cool down soon for you though. Keep Cool! Daisy~

Yikes! It's so hard to imagine summer there while we are in a weak winter here. Stay cool if at all possible.

I just love those old vintage fans by the way.

It's not the heat; it's the humidity! (Yeah, right, try that when it's 112.) Do wish like others I could send some "negative" vibes your way! --Shivering in Wisconsin
