My Weekend.....

Shopping for pink pretties at the markets.....
Gifts for newlyweds (because carrying this to the reception would have been too difficult, especially in heels).......
Celebrating special occasions with special friends....
Eating wedding favours for Sunday morning breakfast.....
Sunday afternoon drinks for Meg and carefully wrapped gifts to say "happy birthday"
You? x

Oh, I love ranunculus! So so pretty.

I love how your gift was wrapped (am I right in assuming there was a gift card in the box/envelope?) The wedding looks like it was another lovely one- and what a beautiful group of friends!

Thanks for sharing your weekend.

What a small world Miss K! I knew the gorgeous Alice was she was a little girl. Her Mum & I worked together @ the RAH a zillion years ago.

What a busy w/end. I reckon you needed to go back to work today for a rest - only joking!

Courtney - thanks sweets! You mean the first one - the red ribbon one? - A group of us went together and got them a Red Kitchen Aid Food Processor but will deliver to them as it was too difficult to carry to the reception! x
PS - and how pretty are the flowers!- I'm on such a tight budget this month but I couldn't resist them!

Emmy - lovely but busy! - yep Cannon cameras are the bomb!!

Mariafer - oh shucks, thanks! x

Karey M - um yep, little mini me! I came up to Alice's (bride) shoulder!! and i had heels on!?! - Yes, navy dress - good pick! A Tim O'Connor number (great Aussie designer) bought from my favourite shop, One Rundle Trading Co - they combine the best of homewares and clothing, and the place always burns a hole in my credit card! x

Vicki - I can report back that they were delicious but not something I should get in the habit of, especially if my dentist has anything to do with it! x

Hello Millie via the wicked west! - It was only a matter of time before we started realising we knew the same people - small small world! I can report that mother of the bride looked brilliant as well! x

Ms McArdle - yes, yes they were. And also very very modest...... (note other readers - Ms McArdle is the stunning bridesmaid on the far right....) x

JLB - well make room for me too sister because I ain't giving it over without a fight!! xx

From one Adelaidean to another....love your blog! Only just started to read it as I am new to blogs. Was most happy to hear that you love Tanjent Trading and One Rundle Trading - two of my favourite shops too! In fact I've just posted about my latest One Rundle purchase.
Thanks and I'll keep coming back.

Pippa - um I'm trying to pretend that flower stand hasn't closed. You know, like they are just closed for renovations or something...... like you think "claire" from Mcleods Daughter isn't really dead, she is just in QLD on holidays....

Viera - Thank you!! I agree - they are looking super gorgeous in my loungeroom.

Catherine - another Adelaide Blogger - yay!! x

Great post Kim. Made my monday. Great photos and wedding ideas, have to show my soon to be siser-in-law. Maybe I need to get my butt down there and open up the flower stand back up? Heidi

Kim, you must send the picture of the candy to Style Me Pretty.com, I bet she uses it and she will link it back to your post. Just an idea, it is a great pic and a great new idea for weddings that I have not yet seen. Heidi
